Prado 150 Dual Battery System
The Prado has a perfect spot for a second battery on the drivers side of the engine bay and we have battery trays specifically made to secure a 105AH deep cycle battery in that spot and look like it was made that way from the factory.
We use a Redarc BCDC charger to charge the second battery due to its durability and suitability for under bonnet use, this fits neatly on a bracket behind the front grille, and also has a built in solar regulator that we wire to an Anderson plug input.
Down the back we can mount the 12v outlets and a voltmeter on either side of the cargo area panels depending on your preference and use.
